SVR called in Calm Design to carry out 2 objectives:
The first objective presented no problem, and work was set about quickly to redesign their existing site and begin building a new site. However, the second objective proved to be more of a challenge, and provide Calm Design the opportunity to show what it was capable of.
SVR UK Ltd, desperated wanted to see improvements in their websites. For one, they hated the appearance of the one they had in place, and secondly it wasn't showing in the top 25 pages for the preferred keyword search phrase, van hire Cardiff. The second site they wanted was to deal with the sales side of the business, as at the time they were using just one site to capture rental and sales business. Again, for their chosen keyword phrase, new van sales, they weren't showing up in the first 25 pages - even we gave up after page 25!
After the work Calm Design carried out designing, developing and search engine optimising the site, we rapidly noticed success in their search page rankings. At the time of writing, (21/01/09), both their sites are now ranking on page 1 of Google for each of their keyword phrases. The sales site, whilst ranking on page 1, requires alot more attention than rental site, and work is ongoing to maximise the conversion rate or visitors. However, SVR UK Ltd reports that they have seen a boost in over 25% in van their rental business since the launch of their new rental website. The content management system we built, allows them to change their stock and deals on a daily basis. The site now runs itself.
