After Calm Design redesigned  and developed the 123vanhire.com website, which saw it jump from page 8 to page 2 in Google for their preferred keywords and keyphrases in less than 2 months, Smart Vehicle Contracts asked Calm Design to redesign and develop their new and used van sales website, www.123vansales.com. For this site they wanted to a complete overhaul of their existing site which they hated soo much. They required the following features:

- A CMS which would allow them to quickly and easily add, edit and delete new and used vans to a database.

- Specify which vans that they wanted to put on special offer

- Be able to upload images of vans of each of their vans

- Have the site optimised as best as possible to rank well with search engines.  

- Look professional

- Be easy to navigate

Based on the design of the 123vanhire.com site Calm Design  provided Smart Vehicle Contracts with all of the above, including an image upload feature that would create thumbnail copies on the fly and resize and optimise the original and thumbnail image to create a mini gallery for each van added to the database. 

The website also lists related searches based on which van the user is viewing, and has been set up to so that each van added to the database has it's own unique page and relevant title  tags making it a delight to search engines. In fact, in less than a week of the site going live, its Google ranking for one of its many keyword phrases, jumped from 25 to 15! Naturally, the aim will be to get the on to the 1st page for a multitude of keyword phrases - we will report back in due course.
